Back to Blogging

And he returns. I haven't had much time to write as of late (well, not anything entertaining), hence the absence. When I started the blog I had every intention of posting daily, but the idea quickly sputtered to death once I tried to get a post going without any content. Maybe one day I'll be witty enough…

So, what's been up?
  • I moved. Found myself a studio apartment, at a surprisingly low rate for Southern California. That was an adventure, lemme tell you. You have no idea how much crap you actually own until you try to lug it all up a flight of stairs by yourself.
  • Work's been crazy. We purchased a digital press, allowing the company to print variable data jobs. It allows you to personalize each and every card (images, text, maps - all set up just for you). I'm one of the guys that gets to figure out how all this stuff works. Translation: Long days and OT. Plus, it's the holiday season, which always means busy for us. Add that to all the other special projects I'm knee deep in...
  • Paid off my car. No more damned payments. Hallelujah!
  • Started playing my MUD again, DragonRealms. Good 'ole escapism.
  • eHarmony's been quiet. A little bit of activity, but nothing worth writing about. I was (obviously) frustrated in my last post, but it was more of a bad day vocalizing itself than a problem with the process itself.
  • Thanksgiving. Me + couch + HDTV + grill + four day weekend = good

Well, that's a brief report for all three of my readers. I'm going to try to get back in the saddle. Life's pretty much on track again.
